TORRI MONTANARE, ore 19.00 Il Concerto finale del SEMINARIO DI COMPOSIZIONE E ARRANGIAMENTO JAZZ, si terrà presso le TORRI MONTANARE, sfruttando la struttura didattica del Parco delle Arti Musicali, utilizzata per la formazione didattica del seminario, ed è rivolto a candidati dotati di una buona lettura e capacità esecutiva, con qualche esperienza di improvvisazione. Un background Jazz non è indispensabile. Il seminario sarà incentrato sullo studio, pratica e performance del repertorio di Horace Silver. Si lavorerà sui concetti compositivi, sulla struttura poetica, sulle questioni strumentali, in particolar modo sulla improvvisazione, tematica e non tematica. Tra i lavori scelti verrà dedicato spazio alla modalità Blues, Hard Bop e ai brani dal forte legame con i grooves della tradizione jazz e latin. The final concert of the JAZZ WORKSHOP OF COMPOSITION AND ARRANGEMENT TYPES, will be held at the MONTANARE TOWERS, taking advantage of the educational structure of Musical Arts in the Park, used for the training of the teaching seminar, and is open to candidates with a good read and executive ability, with some experience of improvisation. A background Jazz is not essential. The seminar will focus on the study, practice and performance of the repertoire of Horace Silver. It will work on the concepts of composition, the structure of poetry, instrumental issues, particularly on improvisation, thematic and non-thematic. Among the selected works will be dedicated to space to the mode Blues, Hard Bop, and songs, with a strong link with the tradition of jazz and latin grooves. |
